I found a really cool art gallery in
the lobby of the Lyman Center that has some sculptures and displays local
artists and national or international artist’s exhibits. You can go there any
time and it is free. I saw State of Occupation by Charmaine Banach. Her
pictures were cool because they were kind of like cartoon figures and they were
telling you something. I liked how they were mostly black and grey with a burst
of color and how she used words as part of the picture. The display at the Lyman Center was set up
good and easy to get to so you can just go see it or walk around the lobby when
you are at a show.
