Work for your Future

BLOG4A

The one thing in my life that I think that many people will say that was worth waiting for was graduation high school. When I knew that I had one week before I would be done with the longest four years of my life I thought of all the work that I had put into it. What I had learned and how much I had grown over that time. It was very much worth the wait because if you did not do the work and get through it you would not be able to move on to college. That is what were all working for to get into college and it was worth the time and work.

I do think that as a whole country that we do have problems with waiting for things. We have gotten used to having everything at our finger tips with our smart phones and other technology. We need to get everything as fast as possible. When I look at someone getting mad because their twitter will not load on their phone fast enough I have to stop and laugh. It is like we cannot wait for anything that we have lost all self-control over life. Like when it says “Whether you're resisting a favorite food or completing a dreaded task, exercising self-control in different areas of your life saps the same mental energy source.” From Resistance Training For Your 'Willpower' Muscles. We need start using that part of the brain. I think what we have to do things differently that we have to learn how to wait for things again. We need to stop and think about what is happening in our life that we need to stop thinking about what is happening right at that second and start thinking about what we have to do next or what the future has for us.
