If you want to go far in life you
need to have Initiative. To me Initiative means to have the power to go do
things for yourself. Everyone should have Initiative to do things that are important
to them for me it all has to do with school. If you want to go far in life or
in your job you need to have to Initiative to do things that you are not told
to do. I think this word relates back to what we talked about in class after
the readings we did.
Different words that we did some reading on
are communization and Culture. Culture
is “a set of beliefs, values, and the practices that sustains a particular person;
also the products those people produce” (Persuasion in the media age, Timothy
A. Borchers, 2013). That has to do with the fact that we are talking about ads
in class and what they have to do with how we act and how they make us think. The word Communization means “a strategy used
by persuaders to create value for their products or ideas” (Persuasion in the
media age, Timothy A. Borchers, 2013).
