New Words

BLOG4V

The word of the week is delayed gratification. What the word delayed gratification mean to me is when someone will wait to get something that they want even if they do not want to wait for it. When talked about this in class with the marshmallow experiment and how we might have experienced it in our own life. One way I can think of an example of this in my life is when I am home and I can smell my moms cooking and I just want to start eating but I know I have to wait for her to put it on the table. Two other words that I heard a lot about this week were ethos and pathos. Ethos is someone who is a trustworthy or someone who you can believe. Pathos is something you see are can hear that makes you feel emotion about something in your life and also gives you evidence.
